Controls and tests
The 'Ville', tested in the wind tunnel at the Institut Aérotechnique de St Cyr, resisted to rear winds blowing at 74 mph or 120km/h, and to facing winds at 33,50 mph or 54km/h. These tests have shown its strength, as well as a 0,54 CX.

Tests of the extreme
Serge Négri, a former World Champion Surfer, sailed 10 miles at 25 mph with a sail made of seven umbrellas, breaking none, in front of French T.V. cameras and Canal+.
